We’re pleased to share that a new version of the VSee Messenger App will be available on Dec 19. This release introduces chat modernizations to make your communication smoother, faster, and more engaging. Whether its finding previously sent links and photos or tagging messages with emoji reactions, experience a more efficient way to stay connected.
Fast Access to Media, Files, and Links
No more scrolling through old messages to find a file or a link! The new Media Gallery automatically sorts and categorizes sent items into “Media, Files, and Links” section for each chat group or individual conversation. Whether you’re reviewing patient images, checking shared files, or simply previewing media, you can now save time and get a more seamless workflow with the ability to directly access the files and links (videos, images, presentations, etc.).

React to Messages with an Emoji
Add quick context and emotion to your conversations with message reactions. A simple tap or click lets you acknowledge updates, show appreciation, or respond visually without typing a separate reply. It’s a faster, more expressive way to keep discussions moving.

Group Chat - New Member Notifications
Instead of getting sudden unexpected messages from a group chat, we now notify you and send you directly to the group when someone first adds you. You’ll also see a short welcome message.
For privacy, only people already in your contacts can invite you.
New members will also get a few helpful tips—like using @ to mention someone or Reply to quote a message—so it’s easy to jump into the conversation.
Currently only available on Mac and iOS devices.

New Contact Request Pop-up
Accept new contacts even when you’re chatting with someone else. Now, when someone sends you a contact request, you’ll get a push notification that takes you straight to the Accept and Decline buttons along with a message letting you know who sent the request.
Once accepted, new contacts will appear in your Contacts tab—making it simple to stay connected.
Currently only available on Mac and iOS devices.

Make sure to upgrade to the latest version on the day of the release.
