Remote Exam Device Control

Authors list

A "remote exam device" is a device or set of tools (e.g. peripheral streaming devices) used to conduct medical exams or assessments remotely. This includes hardware and/or software solutions that allow individuals to take exams from a location other than a traditional testing center, particularly when physical presence at a testing center is not feasible.

Remote exam devices often involve the use of technology such as webcams, secure browsers, and monitoring software to ensure the integrity of the exam process. Examples of these devices are the General Exam Camera, Otoscope, Iriscope, Dermatoscope, Ultrasound, PTZ camera, etc.
