How to invite your patient

As a Clinician, you will need to invite your Patients to subscribe to your Clinic in order to follow their progress. At a minimum, inviting these patients requires an email address.

  1. Click on the Patients tab.

  2. Click the Invite Patient button.

Alternative navigation for this is by clicking on Your Name and then clicking on the Invite Patient option.

  1. Enter the patient's email address.

Updating the email subject and body before sending the invite to the patient is optional. 

  1. Click Send Invitation.


Reasons why your invite may not be sent

  1. The patient has not created an account yet.

  2. The patient has already subscribed to the clinic.

  3. The patient has not accepted a pending invite. 


Take Note:

  • Patients must first create an account on the Welch Allyn Home app. 

  • You will have to wait until the patient accepts the invitation before their readings are transmitted to the portal.

  • You will be notified through the Recent Notifications bell once a patient has accepted your subscription request.
